All I am going to say is typical ESECPN bias.

Hogwash!

SEC bias! We have to be top 2 in DLU. I think UGA RBs have been overall better than Bama. Not being top 10 WRU is ludicrous with NUK, Williams, Ross, Tee, Amari, Cain, Renfrow, Ray Ray, Sammy, and I'm sure missing some WRs in the NFL and not being in top 10??

Miami top TEU?? I can't name a single TE from them but Iowa and Notre Dame have plugged TEs into NFL almost annually. Bama has had several good ones too.

Who were Bama's TEs? Do you not remember the run UM had with

Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen and Kellen Winslow? All 1st rounders...and that doesn't even include Jimmy Graham or 1st rounder David Njoku

They didn't cite the time period criteria

Aug 2, 2023, 11:24 AM

it appears they randomly picked their players to justify the rating. LOL

1998-2022

Paragraph four states it goes back to1998 and appears to end as of the end of the 2022 season.

At the same time their ratings seem to weight thinks towards recency when they want to and disregard it if it meets their opinion better. I don't trust ESPiN to publish anything on a purely objective basis.

Yes it's clearly just subjective opinion and they cite players to justify their opinion rather than using objective data to form their opinion.
Somebody with lots of time on their hands could certainly establish criteria and write a program to have it mathematically calculated, but so what if you don't like it just change the inputs to make the model say what you want.
To the more interesting point, what we do know is our receivers have not performed lately and let's hope this will change this year! Also on the rankings if Ross comes out this year and makes some noise it will help Rankings

Did not read the article, but I'm surprised we werent mentioned in the top 10 for QBU???? To have us listed at 4 for DL is ludicrous. I'm really surprised to have dropped from the ranks of WR because of 2 years of ineptitude.
