The decibel meter on the scoreboard hit 107db a couple of times.

The Miami game a few years ago was louder I thought.

Those numbers are alway relative based on where the microphones are. Generally Guinness looks for the loudest place in the stadium for a measurement.

I was in the corner at the southeast corner on the field and I saw the meter on the screen at that corner go up to 109 one time. The thing I noticed was the sustained noise throughout the game. I had a earphone hooked up to a walkie talkie and I couldn't hear the radio chatter when it got really loud.

it was sustained the entire game. Not nearly as loud as the 05' Miami game but louder than any home game this season.

On a scale of 1-10 (1 a spring game and 10 being '05 miami)

It was an 8.5. I thought it was loud throughout, not just on 3rd down.

It was very loud but nothing compared to Miami 05 which is loudest I have ever experienced in 40 years of Tiger football. That said we caused numerous false starts and timeouts . Congrats to the crowd and noise level!

05 Miami game was crazy, and yes I was there also. Don't know how it could get any louder than that and I was at every home game 25yrs straight before that. Glad to hear it was a good crowd yesterday. I had to wait to see the game last night since my wife made me go to a wedding. Great win Tigers.

at least a 9, maybe a 10. It was loud all day. All day!! It was loud before the game began, and loud after it was over. I don't know what you expect if you call that game a 7.

It was sustained loud. We were loud on EVERY offensive play, resulting in a lot of motion penalties. Been in those stands for 50 years - My memory of Sat will be that this game was constant loud. The fans just never gave it up.

HTH
Would be interested to hear from any Cardinal fans that were at both games. Been going to games for 40 years and this is an all-timer in terms of noise and tension.

This game was definitely one of the loudest I've ever been to. Like most have said, it wasnt as loud as Miami 05 but it was close. Even my 6 year old son was standing on his seat yelling as loud as he could. I talked to a cardinal fan after the game and he said he's been to every game the past 11 years and death valley was by far the loudest stadium he's been too

I believe Miami was a night game and sound travels better at night.

This was as consistently loud as any game because we had to make defensive stops literally every possession. The offense was hardly ever on the field.
The 4th down and incompletion was just about equal to the Miami 3rd down.
