Miami is hauling in quite a class. Won't be shocked if coots are ranked when we play them. Our schedule isn't as easy as mainstream makes it out to be. Sorry, I digress.

We missed on a couple high 4's and 5's on offense (WR) and 2 of the higher rated guys at safety and CB but we have a great mixture of development and immediately impact players.

I thought the same thing last year and they showed me. This year could different, everyone on their schedule will not take them lightly this year.

Auburn and Florida both turned-out to be about as bad if not worse than uof7c which was a bit uncharacteristic. As a result, Mullen was fired and Harsin is now firmly on the hot seat.

Here is the way I see their season unfolding:

Georgia State - Win (1-0)

at Arkansas - Loss (1-1)

Georgia - Loss (1-2)

Charlotte - Win (2-2)

SC State - Win (3-2)

at Kentucky (Loss (3-3)

Texas A&M - Loss (3-4)

Missouri - Win (4-4)

at Vanderbilt - Win (5-4)

at Florida - Loss (5-5)

Tennessee - Loss (5-6)

at Clemson - Loss (5-7)

There are two toss-up games (Florida and Tennessee). I could see the Jock Straps winning one of those to finish 6 - 6.

My suspicion is that Miami NIL/Collective/Booster $ is a factor with several of their top targets. Such is the way of the world now.

Which is weird bc them and their top booster is being investigated by the NCAA but I guess when the Supreme Court cuts your balls off you become a toothless barkless mutt.

NIL is absolutely the factor here. Honestly glad to see AL is competing with schools that are not powers in the last 10 years...BUT have big markets and boosters willing to fund NIL's. It shows how large of an impact this will play in the future. Couple that with the ability to transfer EVERY YEAR. Well, folks - what we have there is free agency with one year contracts. YIKES.
