Matt Nagy Mike Zimmer Brian Flores
Any chance we see some of the top college coaches leave and take one of these jobs?

Same, the Dolphins won 8 of their last 9 and they still fired him.

Khaki pants may be one going to the pros. That will be a good thing for college football.

Maybe if the Dolphins had won 2 or 3 of the 7 in a row they lost, they would be in playoffs and he wouldn't be fired. If you're the Dolphins, you should beat the Falcons at home and Jags anywhere.

More than likely these 3 will just swap jobs or some no-name assistant will be hired from another NFL team. It’s a washing machine that moves clothes and coaches at the bottom to the top and back again.

Brian Flores I don’t get. They seemed to be trending in the right direction.

I think the fired Flores to get a quick leg up on Harbaugh. They know the Raiders want him but won't do anything until the Raiders playoff run ends.

And Fangio was fired yesterday. There are 6 openings right now:
Raiders (Gruden) Jaguars (Meyer) Broncos (Fangio) Bears (Nagy) Vikings (Zimmer) Dolphins (Flores)
There's a good change the Giants fire Judge, too.
There are several college guys that will get a look, most notably Harbaugh and Day.
I expect Leftwich to get one of the jobs (hopefully Jax) and Eric Bieniemy will get a good look, too.
I also think Zimmer will land somewhere quickly.

Harbaugh and Day are considered the top NFL-level coaching "prospects". Saban and Dabo are clearly the top standard at the college level, but we know Saban already failed in the NFL and Dabo isn't viewed as much as an NFL guy just due to his style and his passion for recruiting people and developing men beyond just Xs and Os football.
Matt Campbell is another college guy that continues to get NFL looks. Maybe Lane Kiffin.

Probably not with the Urban Meyer implosion still fresh in

everyone's mind. Both the owners of teams, AND college coaches thinking about making that jump have to gulp when they think about how Oscar Meyer crashed and burned in such short order.

I’m not seeing who would pick up OBrien. I know he had the GM duties but dang he left Houston in a mess. Not sure you could have purposely sabotaged that franchise any more than how he left it.

Glad the Bears finally woke up and also fired that do nothing Pace. Worse gm a team could have possibly had on staff. That idiot thought he could evaluate talent, look at his track record on failures he traded up to get. Whatever team hires him had better look hard at his “resume and results”. Not good.

Ryan Day will be a top candidate for one of those jobs. He’s awkward but a very good offensive mind

I would love to see the Bucknuts lose Day. He maybe a good offensive mind but imagine the crying he would do after loosing a game in the NFL compared to what he does at Ohio State. I pity the team that hires him. PLEASE don’t let it be Jacksonville. TL cannot withstand another coach from the BuckNuts!!!!!!
