Since Clemson told the SEC “no thanks”...

The SEC has gone after SCU, Arkansas, TAM, and Mizzu, lol. They also came after Clemson and FSU hard again, but both wisely said “no”... again. Meanwhile, the ACC booted Maryland and added Miami, FSU, VT, Louisville, and ND. It’s pretty clear the ACC is taking football more seriously than the SEC now.

With all due respect, I wouldn't say the ACC booted Maryland and technically, Notre Dame still isn't an ACC football school. The conference filed a lawsuit against Maryland to make it as hard as possible for them to leave and ND only plays 4 ACC games a year without the opportunity to play in the ACCCG. But your point that ACC football has improved and is on solid ground is well taken.

Maryland left the ACC. Good riddance.
Despite their scandals, Louisville is still an upgrade. At least Bobby Petrino never killed a kid.

I doubt that. Those folks eat, live and breathe football. They added Mizzou and Texas A&M in order to break into those television markets so that they could generate more revenue.

How would we make the playoffs with a weak sec east schedule? There are no participation rings... Unless you're a coot.

The SEC should go after Ohio State. New market. New fans. More TV eyes. Fits SEC culture perfectly.

Bet you'd have traded every one of those wins for a DB that doesn't let a WR get past him in OT last season.

You can brag about the head to head until your blue in the face. But the recent overall success of our program is light years ahead of UGA's. I wouldn't trade that for any amount of wins over them.

And we've now won 2 Nattys since your last.
Today's trivia question: Who was the last team from the state of Georgia to win a National Championship and in what conference do they play?

Dawg, Your stupidity is once again showing! The thread of this post was solely about ACC membership and how the SEC in effect could not invite Clemson or FSU to join due to recruiting and politics. Most Tiger fans understand the reasons behind Georgia’s number of wins. That is past history and we could care less right now.
Just pound Usuck next week and both schools will be happy!
Go Tigers ??!!

Everybody needs a big @$$ chicken every now and then. They’re kinda like the annoying geek that wants to hang out with the popular kids so they keep them around to do stuff that they don’t want to do, except they can’t have them do their homework because they’ll fail, and they aren’t really strong enough to do any strenuous labor. If you were to ask them for a football they would probably just bring you a lady dribbling a basketball....
Now that I think about it why does the sez keep the coots around?

Not sure that's true. Do you have a link? ND doesn't play football in the ACC ( would be bad for their image)....but you knew that.
