I am predicting a Tigernet melt down if the football team drops to 84 scholarships and Dabo gives one to a walk-on.

Yes sir, I've seen those moves in the past to create a stir, but IMO it should bc, if Dabo has a friend with a son with a need for help with college tuition, with a multi million dollar salary contract, it sure wouldn't hurt him to write that check for a friend in need!!!

Do the 80th - 85th players on the roster really bother you that much.
Do some of you really think the last schollie or walk on really mean that much to Clemson's success in a given year.

We need these all three of those guys on scholarship.
The concern was that one or more would have to be dropped.
Now through attrition, that concern has disappeared. That’s a good thing.

I'm not questioning Dabo. That's his only option if this scenario occurs.

Nobody in the coaches' offices would care because TigerNet does not get a vote. If you are speaking of Will Taylor, since baseball players are almost never on full scholarship, he may stay on the football list until we hear he is not.
