My last post got me to thinking, in all seriousness, what would you build at Clemson if money were no object?

First, I would build me a gofundme page to fund an incentive for the first bb coach to beat the tarholes in ch? If it did not get to $1mil within 12 mos I would convert LJC to a tailgate parking building...

Drain Lake Hartwell and pave it for free parking w/free shuttle service to the new 125000 seat indoor Heated/AC escalator equipped FB stadium with sky boxes encircling the top tier of stadium. Each season ticket holder would be entered each yr. into raffle to be drawn for use of sky box for season. One half of sky boxes going to raffle winners. Free food and drinks furnished 2 hours before game time and 2 hours after end of game.

that spanned the entire campus and beyond. Hub near the stadium, with legs that went over the lake to the Seneca Marina, down to the Pendleton Armory, to downtown, to the East side of campus, out to 123 restaurant area, and maybe a couple other key spots.
Parking problems solved.

Clemson University trustees on Friday approved a $87.5 million budget for a new home for the College of Business in the center of the school’s campus and a resolution authorizing issuance of revenue bonds to help pay for it.
Trustees also approved plans for a new tennis center.
The tennis center for the men’s and women’s varsity teams will retain existing tennis facilities, including outdoor competition courts and a 700-seat permanent stadium. The new 48,000-square-foot tennis center will include six indoor courts, two outdoor courts, a clubhouse, a ticket office and public restrooms. The $12.5 million project will be paid for either by athletic facilities revenue bonds or private gifts. It is scheduled to be completed next winter.

Something for the paying students commensurate with what's afforded to the student athletes. I'm all for the new athletic facility, love it in fact. But the coolest place on campus for everyone is what, the amphitheater? A pool, BBQ pit, basketball courts, barber shop, volleyball courts, etc. certainly wouldn't be hated by the 10s of thousands of students that don't play sports. Just saying.

Vet school, Law schools, medical school cant be established at Clemson.
Unfortunately, the law in South Carolina (passed in the 80s I think) prohibits Clemson and Carolina from sharing degree programs. I.e. Clemson cant build a law school because Coot Tech already has one.

24-hour chicken joint kinda like Waffle House but everything is about consuming chicken. All the time, every day, rain or shine - every imaginable preparation of the yard bird. Everything about it would throw shade at the Fighting Expletives from Cootlumbia. All the time. Call it something like "Tiger Fuel" or "The Rival's Purpose" or "Chicken Pickin'".

on that part of campus. The windows would open out so speakers could be set outside to blast the best music to the rest odd the students. Tiger Band would rattle the structure to it's foundation as it played tiger rag on the way to death valley. Nothing can compare to the Clemson experiences we tin can students had. Seek one of us out and ask.
