The North Carolina schools have always controlled leadership in the ACC. So it’s not surprising the NC State AD screwed the ACC over.

The ACC commissioner just issued a statement. That’s all I’ve seen. Meanwhile the SEC commissioner has been on all the shows and out in front since before the selection.

This isn't true. The ACC is generally third in ratings behind the SEC and BIG. Last year it was actually second behind the SEC (https://www.heartlandcollegesports.com/2022/10/18/big-12-conference-ranks-third-in-2022-college-football-tv-viewership-numbers/) The ACC overall has great ratings year to year and is almost always significantly better than the PAC and Big 12

There are only 2 to 4(depending on the year) good football programs in every conference in reality; the rest of the teams are mediocre at best in each conference.

But yeah, ACC "leadership" blows chunks👍

Sorry, there isnt. Its an absolute dumpster of a league from a football standpoint. Now, if you want to argue that the BIG is OSU and finally Michigan again, thats a comparable argument I will listen to all day. But to say the ACC isnt a bad football league is disingenuous.

Yes the leadership sucks, always has - have only ever cared about their precious roundball. Regardless of the fact that all the money comes from football.
