I just watched the video and looked at the website. Am I reading correctly that the 110 Society will have a 25% Admin fee? If true, Is that normal? IPTAY needs to cut the bloat to free up donor money that can be given to the NIL. Is the 110 Society going to become another Clemson organization with too many employees?
I was stunned at the number of people that IPTAY brought to the Notre Dame football game last year. This was a very expensive boondoggle that spent money that could have been used to benefit Clemson athletes/cheer groups. For example, on the way back to the car Saturday, I was walking behind some Tiger Band members. Their orange jackets looked very dingy and had the IPTAY logo on the left sleeve. Come on IPTAY, do better.

Let me purchase some of that Nike sideline gear that’s team only. I’d pay a couple hundred for one of the military appreciation olive green sweatshirts to support the cause.

Agreed. There was some good looking items worn by the Clemson group on the field Saturday. I loved the green sweatshirt with the C on the front.

after reading about this whole program. I don't think it helps the football team much at all.
and yes. IPTAY is also exposing issues now that NIL is in this world.
simply put. IPTAY is not enough to keep up with market trends despite the who hearted and unwavering support. And this 110 is just taking football $$$ and the 110% phrase and spreading it across all sports.
Graham Neff and Clemson Athletics is bleeding Clemson Football dry.

How old are the band uniforms? Anybody know? I noticed at the Notre Dame game they look old and faded.

From one of founders of Dear Old Clemson, I learned that 110 Society is fully independent of IPTAY. Current rules don’t allow for their direct involvement, so you get vague language like “aligned with IPTAY” from the press release. Sponsorship seems to be the method to get around direct funding of the collective. I believe hiring Davies is the right move. Also, this sets up IPTAY to take over the collective if NIL rules change in the future. That’s IPTAY’s plan in the longer term as I understand it, but barriers prevent that right now. Dear Old Clenson will shutdown as 110 Society is the same business strategy (athlete appearances and memorabilia), but it will have greater resources to grow.

I don't read that site anymore, but when I did I remember a bunch of promotion of Dear Old Clemson.

I don't read that site anymore, but when I did I remember a bunch of promotion of Dear Old Clemson.
As well as Clemson Variety and Frame and other local businesses. Dear Old Clemson is shutting down over the next couple months, but honoring current NIL deals. They did deals with 130 athletes as I understand it over the past two years. It was a good start, but this new collective with have much more fundraising resources. I do wonder what will become of Tiger Impact.

From the IPTAY email, it appears that the rules allow for IPTAY to assist in fundraising for 110 Society. The email this morning is the first time that I have been approached from an NIL collective. I am curious to see where all of this is headed.

They don't just LOOK old and faded.... they ARE old and faded..... and have been so for a long time. I think we've replaced the C-L-E-M-S-O-N flags, but they were in the same sad shape for years.

anyway. Also, can’t ever do the Orange-White chants or spell out Clemson around the stadium because of ads during every break. Environment not the same!
