just how much better are their WR corps than ours ? Can we somehow quantify that ?

Those receivers (on both sides) were attacking the defenses all night - speed, blocking, routes, effort, etc.

Just how far do we have to go to get back to WRU ?

Another losing season has the coots more irrational and desperate

They know they are nothing in the current college football scheme. 1969 is a long time ago.

Just for the sake of accuracy (I know that doesn't mean much to you), I am class of 93 and have been going to Clemson games since 1974.

So you just keep on calling anyone with questions a coot. That is about as analytical as we can expect from the likes of you.

Quantity = Much better

Routes seem crisp, rhythmic. Never seems that way for our guys. Coaching?? Playcalls?? Effort??

I’m not sure but last night and watching Texas today…. These receivers are just different

Other top team receivers seem bigger, stronger, and faster than ours, plain and simple. The recruiting AND development have to pick up.

Last night with Washington, yes. Hard to tell with Texas because osu is ga tech on D. Beaux, Shipley, Mafah, Stellato, Brown etc would have a field day.

I honestly believe we beat either one of these teams. Texas beat a different Bama team opening game.

But to answer the original question. I don't think we're that far off. We're good at slot, RB, we just don't have burners or anyone physical for the contested passes... but imho, Dabo will retain Grisham because of the recruiting. A lot is Cade reading D's and having time.

I hope you are right. I would love to see our wides ripping people apart like that again.

BTW, I was referring to Oregon's WRs too. They looked like they were in another league as well.

It wont change with the same coaching (which includes recruiting)***
