The toughest "easy" game on the schedule has to be @ NCSU

It seems like we never play well up there. It was a struggle 2 years ago when we were an out of bounds call from being in a real dogfight. The time prior to that, they smacked an unmotivated Tiger team. Of course I think we'll win, but that's one of those games that no one will really think much about that could be tough.

I agree! Historically, FSU, GT & NcSt have been ths ones to cause problems in conference.
NC State game, especially on the road, is never really an easy one. Plus, I think they are getting better. They have gotten some good recruits lately. DLs & RBs. They got 3 great RBs in this class. Hines is a blazer. Kinda like Ray Ray. A little bigger, maybe even a little faster but not as shifty. Fraizer & Gallaspy are very good also.

Game is also on Halloween and...

Could quite possibly be a night game. ESPN will play up the Wolfpack for a Halloween night. Wolfpack has 4 cupcakes to start the season 4-0, then they get Louisville at home and Va Tech, Wake on the road. Probably a 5-2 and possibly a 6-1 team for our matchup.
Also if you look at the schedule for that weekend their aren't a lot of other big match ups to fill the ESPN night slots.
Tigers will be 7-0 or 6-1 at this point. At worst 5-2 but I really don't see that happening.
This could be a night game and the wolf pups fans will be pumped up.

No matter what ESPN pumps it as, their fans will be jacked for Clemson coming in. Could be a noon game, they would still pack the house for Clemson. And I think every game on Halloween gets pumped up as a Halloween game lol

And they will be an improved team this year. I think this will be our trap game. We'd better not sleep on them.

at Carter-Stinky in recent years. Much of that "NC State plays CU tough at home" talk is the stuff of urban legends going back to when #### Sheridan had the good run against Coach Ford.

And what of Miami ? That is a sure trap road game if you ask me . I know we are the better team , but on the road in a stadium none of our guys have ever even played in for Clemson ? Could be sketchy .

it's one of those screwy road environments with 15-20k fans in the stadium.

Toughest "easy" is scjr @ their house fighting for .500

Vs their arch nemesis/older brochella.
They'll be hyped not just to qualify for a bowl season game likely to be played in alaska, but it'll also be their past glimmering hope of not watching Clemson in the 4 team playoff from Mom's house this New Year's Eve.

We are better than the Wolfies at every position. This should be a 14 point win.
