Any T-netter experience with the Carolina Reaper pepper?

I'm a big fan of hot food, be it Mexican or Thai. Never shy about ordering the hottest wings, though I sometimes regret it.
Every summer my wife grows a variety of peppers. This summer she got a Carolina Reaper plant from Lowe's.
Now I love to cook a habanero with my eggs. I tried a ghost pepper last summer. Incredible heat, but I was able to finish it.
Just tried one of the reapers. It's a tiny pepper, so I thought that I could handle it. This pepper kicked my @zz. Had to stop after one egg. Unbelievable heat that had a delayed build up. Like molten lava. Wow.

It's hot just for hot's sake. Not good flavor with it.

Ghost Pepper as well. If it tasted better, the heat would be worth it, but it isn't there for me.
The trinidad scorpion is about the hottest pepper I've had that actually had a decent flavor to go with it. It would probably be good on eggs. The chocolate habanero is the best hot pepper for chicken wings, imo.

And it would still be blazing. Like you said, no flavor, just pure, weapons-grade heat.

Ghost pepper has good flavor, in diluted form. I bought ghost pepper salt once, absolutely great

If you're ever in Gatlinburg TN on the main drag there is a fork in the road (road on the right is Ski Mtn. Rd) and in the middle is what they call a mall. On the 2nd floor is the Pepper Palace and they have any kind of pepper or sauce that you can imagine. They also have tasting stations and that day they had the ghost pepper as a choice. My wife ate one like it was a piece of chocolate and didn't even blink. No water or anything and the folks running the store couldn't believe it and gave her a "Survivor" fridge magnet (she's Indonesian BTW). Good luck.

it’s pretty much worthless. There’s no culinary purpose for it. It’s purely a novelty pepper for stupid food challenges. I tried a few different sauces with it as the main ingredient. Zero flavor, nothing but heat. At least with the ghost the sauces actually have good flavors.

my friend told me to chew it well or it would burn a hole in my gut.
I like the flavor of ghost pepper and habanero better
my favorite reaper hot sauce is the one the guys make at bacon brothers. They grow their own peppers.

jalapeno. Keep all that hot, and really hot stuff way away from Moi'.
I suspect that stuff would give a hole new meaning to the old Marshall Tucker song "Fire on the Mountain".

For breakfast every morning my wife makes me an omelet with turkey, cheese, onions, jalapenos and Manis Pedas sauce (only available in Asian grocery stores if you can find it) along with hashbrowns and cinnamon oatmeal and I'm good to go until dinner. You can thank me later.

All I could handle was one drop on the tortilla chip.
As of 2019 Guinness World Records listed the Carolina Reaper as the hottest in the world. The developer for the Carolina Reaper has developed a pepper that is almost 2x times as hot.

meat I picked up on a hotel buffet line in Thailand. Got back to the table, and our drinks had not arrived except for a glass of water. Well, you know what Thai water does to Americans. Anyway, I decide to eat a piece of the meat. I thought I was going to die right then. I couldn't drink the water. Thankfully, I had piece of bread that I consumed and the canned Diet Coke showed up just in time.
