I don't know but I do know that nobody makes any person go to Clemson much less stay there if one is not happy. So I say to those who seem to be so unhappy, if you truly are, find another place to go, leave Clemson, and peddle your discontent somewhere else! I, for one, am sick and tired of hearing all your complaining, excuses, and malcontent when there are plenty of other places to go.

Apparently, its all because bananas are now considered to be racist, just like the Mexican food in the dining halls!
What really disgusts me is the way the media and the administration treat these whiny little brats like they have a legitimate complaint! There has been real racism in this country in the past. The people that marched in Selma, people that were murdered and harassed by the Klan, people that were fired on with water cannons, made to ride at the back of the bus, had separate facilities for whites and blacks, refused service at restaurants, refused admission to schools...that was real racism. Martin Luther King died for his beliefs...and these brats have their panties in a wad because some college kids hung a couple of bananas on a sign. Disgraceful!

Wow - brings back memories. I can still remember asking my grandmother when she would take me to GVL about the drinking fountains labeled "Colored Patrons". I actually wanted to use those because they were short for kids and there was only one, but I could reach that one. Grandmother had to hold me up to drink from the taller fountain. That was in the Belk-Simpson store downtown GVL. And then I wanted to sit in the back of the bus, and she wouldn't let me. The sign read "Colored Patrons to the Rear". I actually envied the Blacks 'cause they got to ride in the best part of the bus.  Go figure.
Peeps today are really just whiny and stupid IMO. They have no idea how far we have come without all of this nonsense.
