Anybody remember The Magnificent Seven?

Just a few months ago there were 7 universities (allegedly) who were looking for a way to get out of the ACC.

I find it impossible to believe that the other six have changed their minds and FSU is now the Lone Ranger. I think it is much more likely that there are some of those other six who are working with FSU and that at some point they will be saying, "I love it when a plan comes together."

I don’t remember hearing any M7 denials when that news broke either. All I heard was “how unfortunate it was that it leaked”.

FSU is not alone. Who knows how many other ACC members are as serious as FSU about leaving, but I fully believe Clemson is very serious.

All 7 would have to have a good home to want to break away or dissolve the ACC. Clemson and FSU obviously have a home in SEC or B1G. I have heard from multiple people that NC is highly covered by the SEC and the B1G. NC State, Va, VT, and Miami might have a good home but might not. I dont think they add enough to raise the per school payouts. Certainly they made add other desirable things.
