seems to be something south of 10%, then the Bannyhammer may soon fall. A pulse that low means you have spewn out nearly all bilge that NOBODY on the site is happy with. At that point, the Mods usually swoop in and "Take out the Trash", as it is called. But, currently, as there is no IP address ban, merely names, the departed often reappear nearly immediately, under another name we call a SCOK. Now, I don't know whether SCOK is an acronym, or what, but that is what these reinvented userids have been called as long as I have been around the boards.

FYI information, SCOK is an intentional misspelling of SOCK like in sock account or fake / alt account. Somebody didn’t read the TNet bylaws.

I remember where this came from in the very early days of Tnet.
Someone meant to refer to these people as "sock puppets" but fat-fingered the word sock.
Scok was born and has thrived ever since.

I don't really know what pulse rate is, other than some measure of how many people like or dislike you or how often people like or dislike what you say. I learned a low pulse rate can get you banned. About a year ago - literally after UGA's title win - I got banned. I inquired as to the reason - thinking I must have ticked off the wrong (or right) person. Turns out it was the low pulse rate. Apparently, if your pulse rate is too low the TNET house cleaning process might ID you to be removed. The administrators were kind enough to let me back onboard(obviously).

I think any post is limited to 10 ea TDs. I like this because you can’t have like a run on the market and totally crash someone’s score in one post. Just the other day, I tried to TD Judge Keller and he had hit the 10 TD max so that was his saving grace.

That’s not good at all bc morning posters are usually the veterans like myself that typically just read and don’t try to entice the crowd. The early risers and older crowd… if I had to guess the mods haven’t placed the limit switch on your account yet, because they think you have characteristics of a dirt-pecker

I think you maybe meant incite .. which isnt really something worth doing.
My occasional hot takes are rooted in an outside-the-box worldview that tends to eschew group think.
Which is certainly not a popular posture around here in Dabowurld.

I can see why you get so many thumb downs. You eloquently paint a picture of being a fan but if you are rooted in all things Clemson you don’t say “Dabowurld.” That would entice TDs and incite a rebuttal. No one person or thing is bigger than the university. Your post reeks of SEC homerism and an over abundance of unbridled innocence beyond the norm and quite frankly disgusting behavior.

Not really an SEC homer, either. I do think it's a superior football conference but thats like admitting the earth's round.
Also how can a thing be both innocent and disgusting. That's a new one.

A user is limited to 10 TD’s a day. A single post can receive as many TD’s as it’s worthy of however.

Nope. If someone is under 100 it usually means they share the unpopular opinions. Or that they are just keyboard meanies. (Like me) I really believe 98% of us love Clemson equally. I don’t think there are as many camo coots as people want to believe.

I have yet to notice any. And I still don't know the practical value of "coins." All this stuff has the scent of Double Secret Probation.
I've said before, my pulse got killed in September when, in a DJU post I started, I made the obvious statement that he wouldn't return to the Tigers in 2024. I guess it wasn't obvious to everyone because... Coot this, coot that, TD, TD, TD.
Ever since that happened, I really don't pay attention to anyone's pulse.

A lot of the pulses you see are artificially high, based on their level of membership at Tigernet. Certain levels allow members insulation from TD's, as well as post edit and delete functions. But not all of us. Some of us so-called "cheapskates" instead spend money on IPTAY and multiple (6+) tickets every year and some instead purchase memberships on TNet. And some obviously do both.
I haven't purchased a membership. I have my reasons and they are varied. Regardless, I am grateful for the ability to participate here and I hope the mods are making bank.

My pulse plummeted when I said trump was full of shl¥. My life has dwindled since. They repossessed my AMC Pacer last week, I can’t find my football and my water bed has a leak, but the good news is my parole officer is no longer talking to me and I won $1.3B in the mega millions lottery last night.
By the way, this is a football post. Go Tigers!
