Bakich as an example for Dabo

I know Dabo has accomplished more than EB ever will, but hear me out. Baseball has four IMPACT transfers (guys in the lineup every day)-Obertop, Hinderleider, Ciufo, and Mathes. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a top 5 team without those guys. The same could be true of the football program. A few impact guys brought in to patch holes would be huge and the evidence is on campus. Just a thought I had watching the game today.

Give it a Break, I'd rather have a Clemson Football team playing in Atlanta this fall than a team of "All Stars" from Athens......

Come on man enough is enough. Dabo is not bringing in any high profile players from the portal. He loves the challenge of developing the guys he has.

Why do people feel compelled to do this? We have the best coach for Clemson at football and it very well may be we’ve found it with baseball too. Neither’s actions or some kind of lesson for the other. Two completely different sports with completely different financial situations with players. Obertop followed Bakich from Michigan. The rest come from schools that people would flip their wigs if we accepted as transfers into our football program.

Dabo doesn't need examples and when his roster calls for it, he will look for transfers.

I’m sure Dabo doesn’t need “fan” input to determine what the team HE coaches need.

Dabo has a plan and he's sticking to it. I think the next 2 seasons will determine if he uses the portal or not. I think we are going to see recruiting take off because of his philosophy on the portal. Players know they want get replaced by a portal player like at FSU. If Clemson makes the playoffs and they win a few games it could snowball into a few more championships. Of course it could also prove you have to use the portal to win. We will see.

You got it backwards. Dabo has 2 nattys and bakich had zero. Bakich takes transfers and dabo basically doesn’t.
