“We don’t treat the games the same,” Clemson coach Brad Brownell said. “There’s no scouting. We don’t practice before. We literally just go over and play. Part of that is on purpose because I want some of the trip to really be the cultural experience.”

to have meaningful experiences is great when other coaches do it, but a negative when Brownell does.
In case you missed it, the trip is still very much about basketball too.

My goodness, Clemson basketball fans are the worst.
I have no issue being critical of our basketball program, as we need to get better. Neff knows this, brownell knows this, and the fans know this. But this constant nitpicking of every little thing is ridiculous.

I hope the team plays well but since the games don’t count I think it’s fine that the players are just enjoying themselves and getting to see places most of them haven’t seen before. it’s a great opportunity for them.
