failure. No matter how bad an injury to your QB looks...... they will be day to day as a status, period. I don't care if they show the player in a hospital bed with both legs in a cast.... He is day to day.

I understand your logic, but this was never about an injured QB. All it did was give the committee a semi plausible excuse for what they were going to do anyway.

This. I was rooting hard for the conference championship games to play out exactly like they did because I wanted to see the committee do what I knew they would.

I would have had more respect for them if they just said they were going to put the SEC champ in no matter what. It would #### me off but at least I they wouldn’t be lying cowards hiding behind lame excuses.
