Brilliant golf today from Cam Smith

I was rooting for Rory to make it happen today but also found myself rooting for something exciting to happen and man, both Cameron’s did just that. How about that eagle on 18 from Cameron Young to get sole possession of 2nd place? But Cam Smith owned the day and closed with a 64 to steal the jug. What a tournament.

Little disappointed in how Hovland played today. Hopefully this is a learning experience for him and will help him down the road in future majors.

Rory has to be extremely disappointed today with the putter. He 2 putted every hole, made no bogeys, and only shot -2 on the day. It just wasn’t good enough. Driver and irons were pretty solid all weekend.

Great final round.

This will be tough on Rory.

Cam was fantastic. He is so calm. Putting was tremendous. That putt from off the green up the hill by the greenside trap was gutsy. Easier than the flop shot for the second option. Clutch

I always root for Smith. He seems like a good ole redneck boy that you would have a beer with. The American golfers always look like smug ########. I hate to say but I root for the foreigners because they seem to be grounded.
