Cade is not "elite" but he's good and with the right elite talent surrounding him he could be great, but that doesn't exist at Clemson anymore.

Cade is not fine. His field vision and decision making are non-existent. He’s pretty darn bad.

But, yes, he is tough and seems like a good young man.

Keep telling yourself that.

EVERY QB would be great if he had the perfect protection, and superstar receivers.

Have you considered that an elite QB makes all of those players around him look better? The o-line could be better, but they're not nearly as bad as he makes them look. Full stop.

maybe 1-2 current WRs would be lucky to sniff the 2-deep on our 2015-2019 teams.

I thought our wide receivers had a pretty good game. Ol and cade wern't great. When cade does have time he seems to step into pressure or hold onto the ball for way too long. No deep shots the entire game yet again. Without the deep ball we won't be a playoff team. I've heard coaches say other teams keep taking away the deep ball, which I am calling bs on as if opponent watches any film they know we are about dead last in the country at it.
