Rumors can has torn labrum and Jacob has broken cheek bone. Trying to find out more from a reliable source. Saw this on nachos and analysis account.

Saying Cam had pretty significant injury. Gonna be a huge blow if so.

Hopefully Jarrell's heals up quickly as well.

If thats true for Cam he will be done throwing for the rest of the season. Question will be if and when he can start DHing

I sure hope this is false info. I feel terrible for Cam if it is true. Torn labrum in the throwing shoulder is about as bad a diagnosis a baseball player can get. I will be waiting on pins and needles for official word from the team.

If it is indeed a torn labrum, he will need surgery immediately. He has more on the line career-wise going forward than just this season, so he needs to begin the rehab ASAP to come back for his draft year in 2025. Recovery from surgery will be around 12 months to get back to throwing full strength.

That's promising news. I have no idea what the actual diagnosis is. I was speaking for a fully torn labrum. Hopefully it is less severe than we think.

Also might bode well on severity. If mild, doing things like activity modification, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory/corticosteroid treatment, and ice/heat are treatment options are used. Just hope for his sake, that route works & he doesn't suffer further damage that will necessitate surgery.

Yeah bad news. At least we have his bat in the lineup but now that he DH how do we get Nawrocki in the lineup? Said it a bunch that’s he’s one of our best hitters but this is 3 games in a row not starting
