how the HR last night was not awarded? I mean I get you can blow a call, but after you look at the video, how in the H3!! do you still call it foul? the ball clearly disappears behind the foul pole. if it were foul you would see it go in front. UNEXCUSABLE!! I would blackball that umpire crew!

No question it was a fair ball but since we only play 4 or 5 games a year against SEC teams, our complaints about the umpire crew are just wasted words.

Hard for me to tell from the video clip but is that foul pole like a metal screen material? Reason I ask is that it looks like the ball is still somewhat visible when it goes behind the foul pole. Maybe the Ump assumed it was a solid sheet of metal.

Just guessing.
