Chances of Deshaun staying 1 more year? (Dream with Me)

So....as far as I know the Browns have the #1 pick in the next draft. What are the chances that DW4 stays another season to avoid being picked up by the one team no one wants to go to (If you're a Browns fan, sorry). I spoke with Deshaun a month back and asked him what he had in store for his last season. His reply was this, "It's technically not my last season, so nothings written in stone yet"....Talk about a cliff hanger.
All I'm saying here is, there's always a chance. Realistically, assuming Watson is picked #1 overall, he would be getting a huge contract no matter who he went to, so he may just take it and go. However, projected first-pick QB's have avoided the draft in the past to avoid horrible teams.
Anyone have any opinions? Honestly, I'm extremely proud of the young man and will support him wherever he goes.

None ...
High draft choices are going to go to bad teams. That's just the nature of things unless a good NFL team wants Deshaun badly enough to trade for him.
I can't imagine a scenario in which he comes back, and I believe Clemson's recruiting plans for a couple of years now have been geared toward losing him after the current season.
Zerrick Cooper, Hunter Johnson, Chase Bryce and perhaps even Trevor Lawrence and Dakereon Joyner are all making plans for a 2017 in which Deshaun Watson is off to the NFL.

We have recruited players for two years now with the promise that they would get their chance to go after DeShaun's records starting next year.
Our program is tuned to replace a certain percentage of star players every three years now. As much as I would love to watch a senior season from #4, it could cause more problems down the road than it solves for one season.

Other top picks have already shown that you can force a trade. Watson could easily do the same if he wishes.

Here's my honest assessment (Dreaming with You)

If he doesn't win the National Title, or the Heisman Trophy it matters not what he is projected to do in the draft. I think he will stay to finish his Clemson legacy. He did after all make a solemn promise to Steve Fuller that he would do a great deed for wearing his jersey, and he has a personal goal to either bring a Heisman Trophy or National Title to Clemson's football history. To him it would be unfinished business. He loves Clemson and he is enjoying his college life. If he returns all he would have to take is two classes to be a legitimate student and they can be electives instead of core classes. He could take his ease and not even worry about it. He graduates soon, and he could return for just another season to enjoy his senior year. If he wins the Title, I doubt he returns to defend it regardless. He also took out the insurance policy and has basically nothing to lose. If his draft stock drops he gets $5million if it's due to an injury. If he goes undrafted due to injury he gets $10million.
The dream expanded... Should he return it would be epic.
On defense everyone returns next season minus Ben Boulware and Carlos Watkins. You also have some projected studs coming in on defense as well if they remain committed. On Offense nearly everyone returns with maybe the exception of Wayne Gallman. You also have even more hard core players joining the team next year. In short, it would kick start a dynasty because if we won it all this year and Watson returned it would more than likely cause other players to forfeit the draft this season and return as well for one more year of eligibility to defend the title. Imagine two Natty Championships in a row. Wouldn't that be nice? Then again, we are merely dreaming. I think if we win it all this year and maybe next year we can land Trevor Lawrence which is another Deshaun Watson in the making.
GO TIGERS!

Back to Back Heismans Back to Back National Titles Every ClemsonQB Record Break most NCAA QB records Get an MBA so you know how to manage your billions from the NFL.
Enjoy the best time of your life, College at Clemson.
Go down as the greatest most legendary QB in the history of college football.
Or go 1-15 running for your life for a terrible browns team...
Tough decision.
Your Senior year is by far the best, I'm suprised so many of these guys throw it away.
Set your own goals Deshaun. Its your life, not the NFL's.
Although everytime I bring this up I get the beejesus thumbs downed out of me...
