Clemson/Oregon...Two great spread offenses, but Oregon runs

Oct 18, 2012, 9:33 PM

a lot more than I thought. Wonder if Morris runs more with a QB like D. Watson?

I think I see how Mike Bellamy was suppose to be used.***

The spread was designed as a running offense. Its not really surprising that people can run out of it.

Or Chad Kelly. Morris said Kelly was built for his offense.

Oct 18, 2012, 9:37 PM

Kelly had a lot of long runs in high school career.

Kelly is the perfect QB for this offense and will take

Clemson to the top

Boyd is running more and more and is doing a pretty good job

Oct 18, 2012, 9:42 PM

being Tigers' only power runner (better than none)

Oregon is 4th in the nation in rushing offense, and 56th in passing offense. They rush for over 300 yards a game.

Chad Kelly's 40 time his senior year was faster than Watson's this season. Not that that means anything but he is a great runner, we will see Morris add a whole bunch of option runs when Swaggy K takes over at QB.

I just hope he doesn't turn into another Proctor/Harper

Oct 19, 2012, 7:26 AM

You know...lots of talent, but a huge d0uche personality that makes people hate him when he's off the field.

I wouldn't say Will P or Cullen H had "lots of talent"

They were both servicable QB's who had egos the size of Texas

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

the great thing ab Oregons run game is they

Oct 19, 2012, 8:49 AM

don't run the qb that much. 2 rbs and either smash it straight at you or run it wide w speed.
