Protect dabo at all cost....Clemson and Cfb legend....hope he's at Clemson 20 more years....
If I didn't have Dabo, I'd rather have Deion in this landscape than any other college football coach....He will get top 5 classes in the near future, he will get his pick of the portal...He is smart enough to surround himself with good coaches....Zimmer at jsu....and the new hires have been great....
He brings money to the program...attention and Will Win at a high level.
He is a man of God that values hardwork despite what people say.
The pac 12 is in trouble

I'd like to see him have to coach against a team just as talented or more than his team.

maybe more than I'd like to have had. He wasn't hitting homers then...

When I say I know him, I had the displeasure of being around him. He wasn't a bad guy and he was not a good guy. He could have made a difference, but he didn't.
My father hated him, I hope CDS can take his notoriety and make good things happen with young men.
He failed to do so when I knew him.

Not a big fan of his but do not dislike the guy, but to bring up assault charges gets old. Media does it with anyone and everyone they do not like. People change, and some maybe not so much, but to keep things over their head is just not right imo. Things I may have done 20 years ago may or may not have anything to do with who I am today. Now if my bad behavior continues to be the same throughout my years then so be it, continue to pile on.

Maybe we should start digging up dirt on media personalities. I don’t know of anyone who has a clean closet. This why it’s difficult to get quality people to run for office or take leadership roles.
My only problem with Deion is going after recruits who have already committed to a program. To my knowledge Dabo does not recruit committed players unless they reach out to him or to Clemson. I think it is unethical. It’s easy to do with Social Media sites.

Your knowledge would be wrong. Many committed recruits have come out and said they have received an offer from Clemson, and there's nothing wrong with that. Dabo is an amazing coach and person from what we know but stop trying to make him the Son of God.

LOL. This board always screams "the liberal media digs up old stories to cancel people". Reality is, everyone does it to justify painting someone they don’t like in a bad light. Hypocrites.

He committed assault on someone at the high school he founded (where he fired from) this decade. This isn't a one-off event and did continue throughout his years.

1. I'm not a Prime fan.
2. I'm all about accountability and do the right thing (I fail a lot)
Even given that... 1989 ? Has he continued this kind of behavior ? I don't think he has, but not certain.
This reeks of gotcha... need less of that.

Just like I hate private school snobs, who just because their parents are rich and can afford to send them to a private school, they look down on public school. Myself and my kids went to public school and we’re doing just fine thank you

Washington & Lee most certainly, they offer full, need based aid and other worldly grants to brilliant minds.
They pay for it all.
Still, we appreciate those that are not and thank them for playing.

I never doubt anyone professing faith in Him.
Nevertheless, I'm going to wait and see how buying all these players turns out after a couple years before I respect his method of recruiting.
He hasn't coached a single FBS game so perhaps we should hold back on the anointing and coronation ceremonies.

So, what you're saying, is that you would happily gut Clemson culture and allow that raging, hubristic dumpster fire to coach our kids just for the sake of winning a couple ball games? That's just sad, man.

I respect how Deion has turned his life around and he may become a really good HC at the Power 5 level. But IMO CDS would not be a good fit for the culture established by Dabo and his staff at Clemson. Only one name comes to mind when talk of replacing Dabo comes up. If he were to leave I believe Jeff Scott would a great fit. But I think Jeff could use more HCing experience or more time working under Dabo or a HC with a similar philosophy, values and vision as Dabo. IMO Dabo will retire from coaching as Clemson’s HC. I believe Dabo just signed a new 10 year contract. It may be his last contract before he steps down to enjoy life with Kathleen.

Jeff Scott was absolutely horrible as a head coach man.
Hiring JS as our oc is awesome
As a hc you'd be destroying the program
