deer okrahoma fans on tnet....

I'm going to reiterate this one last time and I hope you will join in on this "discussion".
Your 3 best opponents had to play with their backup qb's and you barely beat 2 of them.(I highly doubt you win those 2 games against their starters)
You barely beat an ok, fugly orange team.
You lost to a horrible, slightly less fugly orange team.
We're the ONLY undefeated team in the nation and we're the ONLY team in the playoffs with wins over 3 current top 10 teams.
What has bob oops and your team done that should make us skeered to play you? Racked up offensive stats against national bottom feeder defenses??

Hey, that's a pretty unique name. When my wife and I gave our daughter that name back in '84, we were certain we would never hear of another girl named Eugene.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

So you mean they're the usuc of the Midwest? Thinking they're this when they're really that, dreaming of beating Clemson before the game then having those dreams turn into nightmares etc

I guess. I mean it's not like there's much differentiation between USCe and a team with 7 NCs, 9 Heisman winners, (technically 10. Billy Sims won it twice.) the 47 game winning streak...do I need to go on?

Not trying to pick you apart because that's all impressive but Archie Griffin is the only guy who's won the Heisman twice. Billy Sims only won it once, in 1978.

You guys have to be morons....Golson wa available....Jimbo himself chose to start McGuire...Per Fisher when he made the decision...MacGuire IS their starter, due to interceptions Golson had thrown..
http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/14146366/sean-maguire-named-florida-state-seminoles-starting-quarterback
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --
Quarterback Sean Maguire will be reinserted into No. 16 Florida State's starting lineup Saturday, Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher reiterated Monday at his weekly news conference.
Fisher said Maguire will start this week against Chattanooga "based on what he did in the last game." Maguire came off the bench to lead Florida State to a 34-17 comeback victory over NC State.
"Fisher said Monday that Golson could become the starter again at some point, but "Sean is our starting quarterback as of right now, and hopefully he'll continue to play well and we won't have to relive that" quarterback shuffle."
So no, we played what their coach himself was calling their starter.

We played the better QB at FSU, McGuire went on to start after our game and Cook is better than Perrine. The defenses we have played are better than ones you faced and we've carved them up. Good luck!!! ??????

LOL, he was a backup to begin the year, but he was also making his 3rd start in a row(he played a good number of snaps in the 2nd game of the year too).
Vs guys getting their 1st and 2nd starts. Heck TCU could've tied you to take it into OT, but got greedy.
You want to check out stats to see which of those qb's was most impressive throughout the year?

At Baylor Stidham was making his third start, Walsh had been a previous starter, and I will give the TCU QB was for all intents and purposes a backup. Do you mean Stidham's whose was 12-2 (td/int) and a QBR rating of 199? Not sure whose stats I am supposed to be looking at?

How many games did Stidham win? Also, the majority of his stats came in clean up time against bad teams...He played well against kansas st. but they aren't very good either.
He was also making his 2nd start, like I said.
You guys got lucky plain and simple. With their starters I highly doubt you beat Baylor or TCU(almost beat you with their 3rd string QB).

Interesting he's being considered the backup, since he's been in and still their QB since game 3....unlike TCU and Baylor.
Funny though, weren't they losing something like 21-3 going into the 4th quarter...in a monsoon...

He also started 11 more games for ND and led the team to a 9-2 record in those games. I find it hard to believe, based on how they played, that Ok St, Baylor, or TCU would've won that many games if they'd had to start the guys who you played in your games.
Also, technically FSU was our best win, and we outgained them by 150.

If you paid attention, you'd have noticed that baylor's production didn't really drop off with Stidham. He'd start at any of the schools you guys have played.
We were smashing through TCU without any issue until our backup QB came in. You're not gauging that one on any useful metric.
Barely beat Oklahoma State? 58-23? And Walsh is a backup QB in name only. Their first string guy came in for a couple plays and didn't do much but throw a pick 6. A mobile QB was their only hope, and Walsh was it.
Lastly; I'm not sure if this is an inside joke or if there's a sincere lack English comprehension on this board, but "dear"*

I am surprised your stupid wagon is allowed on the field--turf is expensive.

"Deer" is an inside joke address. You couldn't know this. The game should be a great one. Your team is very good, but so is ours. It should be a war, especially in light of the beat down last year, and there certainly will be a 'revenge' factor for your team. Still, I doubt that will be enough, but that is why the games are decided on the fields and not on boards.

He was talking about you BARELY beating Tennessee....not OkSt
If I were you, I would be worrying about your own house. It seems as if your team is a bit scared to come play the Tigers in Miami. I am already starting to wonder what excuses you guys will come up with when my Tigers roll you like we did last year.
I wish you no luck. I hope we drive over you by 50.

Not much drop off with Stidham? He barely beat Kansas St., Lost to you guys, and was losing to ok st. before getting hurt....Before that no team came close....
So TCU's 2nd/3rd string qb's are better than your previous starter? That's just sad.
Where did I say you barely beat OK st.?

K State managed to rope Baylor into a game they didn't want to play. TOP control. Low scoring and such...for the big12, anyway.

Here's a couple of interesting metrics that can be based on...
Total defense: http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/22 Total defense TCU #66 Clemson #7
Team passing efficiency defense: TCU #20 Clemson #7
Rushing defense TCU #80 Clemson #23
Team tackles for loss TCU #59 Clemson #5
Team sacks TCU: T-#43 Clemson #12
Scoring defense TCU: T #59 (technically #61) Clemson #18
1st Downs defense TCU #73 Clemson #5
3rd Downs defense TCU #7 Clemson #3
4th Downs defense TCU T-#61 (technically #64) Clemson T-#39 (technically #40)
See a pattern of a team that has beaten 3 teams in the current top 10??

Didn't the announcers during the game last Saturday state that we are #1 in defending 3rd down?

Well it looks like TCU will have tough time playing Clemson. You spent how many hours in a meaningless comparison?

What that the ACC plays crappy offense? That the only time you played a team with a 1/2 decent offense they put up 420 yards with a back up QB in a rain storm?

LOL, and you have a bunch of NCAA bottom dwelling D's in your conference, which is the point I made in my initial post in this thread.
We've played against top 30 offenses. Have you even played against a top 30 defense?

BC National Ranking = 30
OU National Ranking = 108
I am guessing based on your posting here you have never seen the inside of an OU classroom though.
You are a sad idiotic mouth breathing troll.

LOL, There you go talking out of your a$$ again.
If you didn't do that so much people on here wouldn't fact check you to prove a point, idiot.
You also seem to think it takes an act of congress to google something.
It's actually quite simple and not time consuming in the least.

really...could have swore Clemson played FBS opponent #25 Total Offense App State...and just beat #19 North Carolina (that was 11-1 going into the game...same record as OU)) http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/21
Oh, btw, App State has the #12 total defense too...bit different than, let's say...Texas Tech (with the #126 of 127 total defense)...or Akron (with the #98 total offense and only top 20 defense OU faced all year).

sorry...#26 total offense App State...ND (which Clemson had down 21-3 going into 4th quarter) is #25...guess that #25 offense decided to come alive for one quarter...maybe because they had to.

Shows the difference of that defense vs Clemson...since you think it'll be the same as playing TCu that didn't have Boykin, but Clemson will have Heisman finalist Watson.
But here, let's lay it out another way like I did in another post: Total Defenses played FBS (not counting our own for UNC)...current rankings:
Bold = in top 50: Oklahoma #17, #46, #55, #59, #66, #95, #100, #107 (lost to), #108, #125, #126, #127 (0 FCS) avg ranking of #85 with only 2 in the top 50
Clemson #1, #12, #13, #15, #19, #38, #39, #43, #76, #96, #99 (+1 FCS) avg ranking of #41, with 8 in the top 50
OU has played the top 3 in total offense, but two of those three were at the end of the year, when those team's best QB's had already gotten them to those rankings (it wasn't the backups that got them there)...and they faced neither of those QB's (Boykin didn't play for TCU, and Baylor was on their 3rd string QB). The other...has the #126 of 127 ranking in total defense. That's like us trying to brag about Boston College because they have the #1 D...they've proved that they are a top D (look at every other game they played and scores of the opponent, including ND and top 10 Fl State)...but without an O, they can't beat anyone.
Not much of an accomplishment to whip on a near to last ranked D with a good O...team with the better defense obviously should win that one. They did still score 27 on OU...just had nothing to stop OU's #7 offense, but you'd expect that anyways.

Why even subject yourself to their reasoning?
They give out bachelor's degrees in trolling at Oklahoma. Earlier on the clemsonfb IG page, when Dabo was declared Home Depot Coach of the Year, half the initial comments were these terds saying "Go Oklahoma! #### Clemson!" Where's the class in that? I can't wait to embarrass this team and expose ESPN once again on New Year's Eve!
Bring your tissues OK fans.

Everybody says we're the favorites and we got Big Game Bob and Bowling Ball and Shepard and we only lost one game and we played everyone in our conference. Oh yeah, none of our guys are distracted by NFL scouts and looking forward to going pro and you guys have freshmen trying to play line, freshmen trying to play offensive line? We don't know their names cause nobody has called their names out all year long.
All your good defense players went pro and your quarterback is more delicate and fragile than a orchid pedal and that two offensive coordinator thing, everybody knew you couldn't make up for losing the world's best OC, The Chad. Cheerleader for a head coach and your school is a dump and you never graduate anybody but used car salesmen and they ain't that good either.
We're a traditional power house program and we'll pound you like a mallard duck then stick a rod up your butts and put you on a rotisary for 60 minutes to get the fat off you then devour you with out top ranked defense. You just don't know what you're in for, the beating of your life.
I'm way behind in the voting for The Troll Trophy so I'm working extra hard to catchup.
