I think Henry has made himself some money with his play so far this year.

Hate to see XT out, but KJ has taken advantage of the opportunity. Seems like he's a strong leader in this team too.

I watched the interview today. It is rare that I am shocked by the QA session. This one has a couple of nuggets that were surprising. This was definitely one of them. I guess I never really considered that KJ was seriously considering transferring. He has always been a contributor and has opportunities. Glad to see that he stuck it out. He has really come into his own this year as a great player and true leader.

I never knew he was considering transferring either. He has been one of my favorite Tigers since his commitment. I believe he will be a coach one day.

Right. That would have stunk. Love KJ. KJ is awesome and is such a leader with a great personality.

I love these Daboisms. In my line of work, you can never learn enough from great leaders. Leading people, truly leading people, takes a talent most will never possess or even understand.

If memory serves me, although he arrived with a 5 star ranking, he had to build up his frame. He just didn’t have enough weight and strength those first couple years to be effective at the P5 level. Then along comes Covid shutdown and he more than anyone suffered from the loss of the weight room and nutrition plan. Cade Denhoff is in the same boat, so hopefully KJ has mentored him on being patient.

KJ could have transferred to get more playing time, but staying at Clemson was the best decision to finally play at the P5 level with a staff committed to get him the playing time when he was ready. He put in the work.

I have met his family several times at IPTAY gatherings at away games. They are wonderful people and I hope his Dad is doing well.
