Same here. Deion was always brash almost to the point of arrogance but has softened a bit over the years. I'm just glad he didn't take an ACC job, putting him so close to the Florida recruiting hotbed wouldn't have been great for our Tigers. His name just has so much pull in that area. Hope he brings the Buffs back to winning.

Seems out of place. I thought Deion would wait longer for an opportunity in the Southeast. GT seemed logical (while it was available) with his history in ATL, but not a ton of other options worth considering right now. I'm sure he can pull some donor money to make improvements and build a respectable team, but still not where I expected.

Thought it was weird to especially since he kept saying that he was going to keep coaching HBCUs to build them up, really thought he wasn’t going to leave. I wonder what Travis Hunter is going to do?!

And see what he could do for their program. I think Neon Deion would love to return to Atlanta.

But it's probably for the best. Coach Sanders would probably want to hire his own DC and they simply couldn't have that.

Got my popcorn out. Wish him well. There is already talk of him plucking a 4-star recruit from Ohio State.
