I could only read down to about half, then I got a little sick. Man, these chickens think that ol Muschamp is a recruiter, talent developer, and good coach. Right.. Matched up to your in- state competition in CU not so much, they need to be talking about raising their game to at least being " somewhat " competitive with Clemson. Personally, I hope they keep em' for a while, boom.

How old are these guys. USuC is the HC Graveyard.
No one else wanted Chump. After the Bama/Auburn game,he wasn't gonna be able to return to Auburn,T Rob wasn't gonna be offered DC at Auburn. Gus thought he had Pruitt until he got Sabaned, then went with Steele. Steele did better than their Chump and Ellis.
Someone should post Hood's article from the Lakeland HS coach talking about Chump being a joke among Florida HS coaches in that thread.Doesn't matter what one reporter says, HS Coaches are the lifeblood of a College Coach.

Boom and $CU were a perfect match for each other...

Boom knew that Auburn was about to can him which is why he literally begged Ray Tanner to hire him, and Ray Tanner knew that no one else really wanted the $CU job.
They were pretty much stuck with each other.

"Not sure about 5 years but we're definitely on the right track! A bunch of my Clemson fans and relatives do the same. I think whether them and our other rival fanbases want to admit it we're slowly becoming a threat. Their reaction to Bentley's confidence this offseason alone is a sign of how shaken they are."
Yes we are absolutely terrified of Bentley. Nailed it!
"If Clemson fans that actually follow college football and not just anything orange, looked at the program, they would have to admit that the program has done a 180 and is trending up rapidly. But your right most of them are too caught up in the past to look ahead. As usual."
Where was that 180? Did i blink and miss it? Was the 180 before or after the 7 TD loss to Clemson and subsequent bowl loss to USF?

when they were handing-out rivals, Clemson absolutely hit the jackpot.
$CU fans clearly aren't the brightest stars in the constellation. In fact, they are some of the most ignorant and deluded fans in all of sports.
However, there is no denying, they sure are good for a laugh. The comic value alone is priceless.
How bad would DT be if we didn't have those tards to laugh at?

He is right in saying we're caught up in the past though...We need to admit our failings as a fanbase sometimes, and so I think we should all admit we've been caught up in enjoying the national championship Clemson won 7 months ago. For shame, all of us!

I couldn't get past the part where they are concerned about other teams (blue bloods of CFB) hiring him away from them...
That's beyond the any level of delusion and borders on vegetative.

"South Carolina was 4-2 in its final 6 games."
They beat 2-10 UMass, Tennessee (9-4) who was missing 80% of their defense, a 4-8 Mizzou team, and Western Carolina. Why are any of these wins being celebrated?

any win is worth celebrating.
The funny thing though is that all of the advanced metrics I've seen showed absolutely no improvement from 2015 to 2016. Their 3 win improvement was a product of luck (won more close games) and an easier schedule. Overall, they were largely rated in the upper 70s or mid 80s (out of 128 D1 teams) both years.

built largely on failure rather than success, you tend to go out of your way to find reasons to celebrate; like tearing down the goal posts after beating New Mexico State.

This is a good one in response to someone saying they hope Herman does well at Texas:
"Me too! cause Champ is a next pick even if he is only modestly successful here. (SEC Championship game, win or lose. East Div Title."
Yes, even moderate success at South Carolina will have TEXAS knocking on their door to steal Muschamp from them.
