I believe he did some stupid things but I also believe they were out to get him and a lot of it has been proven so however, we feel regardless Watch him withering away. Everyone hates him. The media hates him. The Browns fans are starting to hate him. Other players are hating him. I feel like he could’ve been the best quarterback in the entire league. Just imagine if he had ended up with the Chiefs instead of Mahomes. he led the league in QBR without even having a receiver a few years back, so I just keep telling people let him get over the hump of his time off and he’ll get back. Then watching him last week and again today I think he may be done. It really sucks, the best college QB ever play the game

I agree there was some humility issues, and that he did bring most of it on himself, but you can convince me that the Texans didn’t screw him up one side and down the other and I still think they’re behind a lot of it even down to the lawyer situations. He was their only hope for a championship during those years.

I still believe in his as a person. I am starting to question if he will ever be good again in the NFL though. The Browns have a SB defense and just need a quality QB.

No massage or propaganda press will ever tarnish his Clemson legacy in my eyes. DW4 was the best quarterback I have ever seen under center at Clemson and I will always be grateful for what he did for us

Not really propaganda. He put himself in several bad positions and he paid the ultimate price. My teenage daughter says "if you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough".

exactly my thoughts not give me wrong he should’ve been less horny and not have even gone to begin with but young guys with money are going to be young guys with money. Sometimes I’m sure other guys NFL do even worse that it’s just not publicized or known about but the Texans organization made sure we found out real fast what was happening there.

Exactly....I don't think I've ever heard of someone in sports be chastised in the media for consensual massages/oral sex (which they were paid handsomely for) as Deshaun Watson .....I think you would be hard pressed to find many in the NFL/NBA/MLB that HAVE NOT engaged with prostitutes , drugs etc
All just seems very pearl clutching and hypocritical to me

Its not because he wanted out of Texas. Thats silly. A girl or two came forward and then they all wanted money. Basically prostitutes. Deshaun knew they were and he was still living that way.

all prostitutes who provided such services for Deshaun and a gazillion other men, using "Massage Therapy" as a front. For whatever reason (it doesn't matter) they all got together, hired a lawyer, and went after him. I don't believe he ever tried to ianappropriately initiate sex with anyone who he didn't rightfully believe was expecting it.
His mistake was involving himself with numerous prostitutes. Not sexual assault or harrassment. Neither is wise, but there is a big, significant difference. Ultimately, as a grown man, he is responsible for his actions and has to be accountable for the consequences. Hopefully he can learn and grow from it, but it's a shame it derailed his carreer like it did.
