Good teams find ways to win when their stars don't shine

we did that tonight against a good basketball team. PJ, Girrard and Chase weren't bad, but they were below their norm. In step Wiggins and Shieffelin. Wiggins has come a long way. He looked confident and poses a real mismatch at 3. And Ian is just one of those guys who makes winning plays in so many ways.

This is by far Brad's most talented team. When healthy, we're missing Hemenway and Clark, we go 8 deep with guys who can shoot and score. Defense will get better as the year goes on as it always does. Still a good schedule ahead before the ACC really cranks up in January with Memphis and TCU upcoming, so a chance for a nice NET ranking to improve here pre-conference.

This team can hurt you in alot of ways, you have to defend basically everyone. I love hoops, so much fun when we have a good team.

And we do

PJ was the only one keeping us alive in the first half

tonight he was human, still had 15 pts, 9 boards and 4 blocks, hardly a crappy game. USuC did a good job on him though. But Wiggins and Ian showed we're more than our big 3

Yep 72-67.

SChief is the kid that's really upped his game. He busted his behind in the off season with coach bender. I think it was bender but it could have been Donlon.

This game and Pitt game were ones we’d fold at the end and possibly lose the last few yrs. We’ve gotten much better and don’t panic late.
Free throws needs a little work.
