what other teams that you know of have such luxury as having an Ewers (crushed Bama) & b/o’s like Archie Manning?

We are in trouble there since our b/o is a good kid who is a moderate to better than decent talent who can be used in layman terms to salvage a game but not be counted on to take on a FSU or NDame team, IMHO.

I am a little surprised that in addition to DJ, two former Clemson backup QBs are starting for D1 teams. Including a former walk-on.

Worse part about it for Texas is I don’t think Arch is the back up. I think Murphy is there back up. Arch performed poorly in Texas spring game, which is understandable. Think he will be a great quarterback when his time comes.

I’m not sold on manning yet. He has the bloodlines but he played inferior high school talent and I don’t even think his stats reflect that
