Spurrier and Dabo finally on the same page....

Both come out and say players didn't make plays, not sure why we couldn't get offense clicking, etc, etc
Les Miles comes out saying he is #####d at himself, poor coaching, visibly upset at himself and his staff
Glad to know Dabo and Stevie carry such confidence in their coaching abilities that the players must have had a bad game not the coaches.
Maybe Steve couldn't get Mike D going in the running game because they didn't prepare properly, maybe the secondary saw something in the passing game they could matchup with
Maybe Dabo and Morris couldn't get Tajh and the receivers going because the defenders matched up man for man and bumped the timing off and the D line got to the QB completely embarrassing the great Morris O
Would be nice to see in state coaches taking it on the chin when it shows they were outmatched on preparation, game management, play calling, etc

Good observation. There was plenty of blame to go around but what stood out most to me was dropped passes, off target passes (whether it was the QB or a bad route) and some missed tackles. Those are player errors.

Did you miss Dabo saying the loss was his fault?

That was one of the first things he said in his post game. If you are going to spew garbage at least make it accurate. Clown...

Dabo clearly said...

That he got outcoached. If you're claiming Dabo passes off blame to the media, I think you're misguided.

I have heard enough from Dabo to know he likes to talk too much and uses too many clichés.
I know Spurrier is a bit conceited to say the least and happed to watch both post game pressers and saw something similar in both of them
Is there a problem with putting out there something I noticed that I thought was odd, Spurrier and Dabo doing the same thing?
I am sure Dabo lovers will hate it but I am sure there are level headed people who get exactly what I am saying

So you are going to ignore what Dabo said?

You claim he blamed others and used cliches but you must have missed him blaming himself. I don't know what Spurrier said because I only watch him for laughs when he is drunk. He is your business coot.

that i have no doubt.
when the man stands there in his press conference and shoulders the blame, it's hard not to give him credit for it unless you'd rather grasp at some less than insignificant straw.
pretty sure you're making your own hat with that post.

about Dabo anyway. I watched and read his presser and he was very clear about getting outcoached. I have no idea what OBS said because I don't care enough to listen to or hear anything he has to say.

You can look at this from every angle possible

But at the end of the day it was the turnovers and the fact that our players weren't mentally focused on the game.
Dabo gets caught up in all the hoopla and it translates to the players.

I agree but there was a lack of any in-game adjustments.***

Ok, everyone is backing Dabo
How about Chad Morris = Clemson beat themselves, they didn't stop us we stopped ourselves
That doesn't sound like a coach who needs to go back to the drawing board.
Sure turnovers hurt, good teams get the ball back and go score, good teams stop the other team when a turnover happens, good teams come back from early turnovers
There was little in game adjustments, game management, and in the end it would be nice to hear what I heard from Les Miles. Maybe not even the words of taking full responsibility but the emotion. Dabo is all emotion before and after a win, where is the emotion of maybe we aren't as good as we think, maybe we need to work harder and coach harder.
Seems it is the easy way out to say 1 game won't break our season, back to work, offense wasn't clicking, hellooo, it was the FSU defense that kept the Clemson offense from clicking. That would be encouraging to hear, hey they defended our gameplan and we need to go back to the drawing board.
However, we beat ourselves is something 10 yr olds say. Morris will never get a head coaching gig with that attitude. He must not be a good interview anyway since NC ST and Texas Tech passed on him
