Does Dabo bring back Jeff Scott in any capacity?

I’d love to see Jeff back. He’d definitely help with recruiting and the offense. Does Dabo bring him back?

I think the answer is almost certainly, yes. The question is what is available, how does JS see himself plugging into the staff, and are there other offers external to Clemson eg OC at OU.

I don't get the hype with OU. Doesn't seem like it would be any better than Clemson.

I’d imagine he would either come back as an analyst or as WR and Co-OC. But the last option might feel like a step back in his career.

Lots of other former head coaches go back to lesser positions to reinvent themselves and learn to get another chance to be a head coach.

Co OC would be a slap at Riley and he would not stand for that. Recruiting coordinator is a lot of time on the road and I doubt he wants to get back into that full time. Possibly WR coach leaves and he does that and helps with recruiting again. NCAA had talked about another coach position to be added. Not sure where that stands. If it goes thru then it is a no brainer.

I dont think Jeff will take anything less than an OC job, nor should he.

He isn’t coming back as our receivers coach.
If Riley leaves I wouldn’t be surprised if Dabo talks to Jeff about being our OC.
I think it’s much more likely that Jeff is in the mix to be Oklahoma’s next OC.
