Matching revenue has never been the goal as its not possible and not required. The last 10 years Clemson has been at a revenue deficit, yet we have been more than competitive. The thing is we cant survive a giant deficit as that would become a hill too steep to climb.

Can the ACC close the deficit enough to be viable? I doubt it as there is simply not enough interest or enough fans to draw the big network $ in the current format. Perhaps if the ACC and B12 merged it would be enough to draw competitive dollars.
