...in all MLB. .663 vs .659 for the Rays. I don't think anyone saw that coming after the Rays unreal start. Braves are an offensive freight train just chugging along with a patchwork starting pitching staff with our very own Spencer Strider the current ace sitting at 9-2. Been fun to watch!

Nobody expected the NL East to be so awful. Braves have the 28th rated strength of schedule played and the 22nd ranked strength of schedule remaining. Not their fault of course, you can only play the teams on your schedule.

It's really only the Mets that have been so bad based on expectations this year. The rest of the East is about as good as any other division.

The Braves just beat the Twins and the Reds, both division leaders. Not sure the strength of schedule is a great metric. The Reds were arguably the hottest team in baseball before they ran into the Braves. The Twins have one of the best pitching staffs in baseball and the Braves dismantled it. The braves offense is scary when Ozuna and Rosario are clicking.

Lose a series to the lowly A's and take one from the Reds. It's a crazy game but I love it.
