KBarnes36 needs to start at Nickel

Mukuba can move back to FS when healthy. Barnes is almost like the Honey Badger. He was everywhere and plays with aggression that we need at the Nickel. He did get burned on a pass play that was thankfully overthrown, but I’ll take the positives over that negative here.

Correct. KB needs to play whether the oft injured Mukuba comes back or not. KB is a better player.

They both need to be on the field at the same time. Mukuba looked great the Duke game. One of the only bright spots from that game. Mickens and Mukuba at safety and KB at nickle.

#30, Corian Gipson #42, Sammy Brown #54....that leaves a few multiples of 6 for whoever steps up to earn them. If Dabo is a smart as we have heard, he will take advantage of this math fact.

Agree 100% on Parker. He is at the ball or disrupting EVERY play he is on the field.
Now, I may get flamed for this…. But so far this season on the eye test: Ship is not our best option at RB. I’d like to see the 2 back set with Mafah and J Haynes. You got size and power on one side, and quick first step/speed on the other. Ship still needs his touches, but Haynes has the best first step that we’ve had at RB in a few years.

At this point, it appears Mukuba, Mickens and Barnes are our three best safeties, all three should be on the field at the same time when we are in our nickel packages.
