An F-15 flyover in the dark at 1500 feet, unannounced, flying at Mach 1.05 would scare the poop out of everyone in attendence as they get hit by the shockwave. Unfortunately, it would probably also cause a bunch of older fellows to have heart attacks so it probably won't happen.

It did not kill it at Texas AM. Two F-18 fighters in a driving rain.

I’d fly a KC-135 over at night if the AF and Clemson let me. We could turn on our belly lights as we flyover at 350kts

The flyover in Tampa was with Ospreys with glowing rotors. And for anyone that didn't see them, they were badass.

Then let a Decorated Clemson Apache Pilot set that chopper on the Paw and deliver the Game Ball!!! Solo Mission . . . No chance of collision . . . They fly night missions all the time. What's the problem? There will probably be one parked on Bowman Field, won't have to go very far!
Sorry, I know there are liabilities and safety issue concerning landing within the confines of Memorial Stadium, but rest assured it wouldn't be an issue for our servicemen . . . Piece of Cake for them!!!

Word I'm hearing from a few cadets is that "the University", whoever that is, has put a stop to helicopters landing on Bowman field. Sux too, as I stepped on/off quite a few Hueys there 1982-1986

A helicopter used to land at midfield between rivals Spartanburg High and Dorman High and their mascots would get out and deliver the ball on Friday nights. It stopped after 9/11. It was pretty cool.
