Playing some Mario 64 and WWF no mercy. Good times. Any other nerds out there and what were your favorite games growing up?
Still have friends that play all the modern stuff, I just can't get into all the micro transactions and over the top stuff.

Goldeneye 007 is still considered one of the best shooters of all time. Many arguments started over that game on a Friday night. Whoever had the golden gun was unfair.

Used to play that multi-player my freshman year on the Omaha beach map. Nazi teddy bears vs allied squirrels. Lol
Sadly my N64 no longer works properly. I pulled it out last year to let my boys play mario 64 and it kept resetting every few minutes. I assume the cart reader is bad.

I am older so mine was NES. My favorite was Super Mario 3 and Mike Tyson’s Punch OUT!! Teenage mutant turtles, Double Dragon, Street Fighter and a million other games you had to blow on really hard on to get to work right

I started with NES but went with the Sega Genesis instead of Super Nintendo. I got the blood and guts in Mortal Kombat. Loved Street Fighter. My favorite probably has to be Super Dodgeball on NES. I could play that for hours. Hooking it up to a 56 inch 30 years later is pretty awesome. I know what I’m doing tomorrow after we whoop some a Miami @$$!!

Owner of the company I work for has a couple video game in the break room. One has something like 2500 games listed under the different systems (Nintendo, Super Nintendo, PlayStation, etc…) I have found the games from the 1980s…Asteroid, Dig Dug, Joust, Centipede and such. Younger guys look at me like I am crazy, but I have a blast with them. Can’t imagine dropping a quarter every time I play like I did back in the day.

Oh yeah, Spyhunter was my favorite! Never was big into video games but did like that one on rainy days when we didn’t play outside. Only had a few games for the Colecovision.

Bored. My gaming didn't making it past Nintendo. Duck Hunt, Jaws, Contra, Paper Boy, Spy Hunter.
I've got buddies that play Fortnite with our kids, but I just never felt the draw. Probably because I'm not good at video games. Funny that's what we still call them.

And I don't watch tennis and I don't care much about mario. But that game was perfect. The physics were awesome, the skills were balances.... the variables were compelling. It was perfect.

Had an original Pong game in the 70s

Monochrome with two dial controls for the paddles. We thought we were very cool.
Then came Atari. Space Invaders of course was huge, along with Asteroids. Had a Winter Olympics game with downhill skiing. It was cutting edge at the time but looks prehistoric compared to modern games.

and we would have Tetris challenges.
Roommate had Sega Dreamcast, neighbors across the hall had N64, neighbor down the hall had PlayStation. 30+ player Goldeneye Tournaments were held in the main lobby of the dorm on the big screen tv.
There were all kinds of games going on; Sega Marine Fishing with the fishing rod, NHL 2k, NFL 2K, Goldeneye, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Parasite Eve, Contra, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, etc.
Good times!
