He's been in the league 6 years - I know, I know . . . but as an owner making the draft choice, he should have played 6 seasons . . . .

He's 31-29 - was drafted 12th overall



Knowing then what you know now - where would you have drafted him ?

Was drafted into. I would argue anywhere else his off field issues never become an issue without the owner living across the street from the Plaintiffs lawyer when he asked for a trade due to coaching carousel.

I still contend had the Chiefs drafted him instead of Mahomes, he would have had the same success (if not more) that Mahomes has experienced.

Considering he's played for 2 of the worst franchises in the NFL (Texans and Browns), I think his record of 31-29 is pretty good! He did a fantastic job with the Texans until they started changing management, coaching staffs, and traded their top players away!

DW4 didn't do himself any favors with his questionable behavior off the field. However, I would have still drafted him, but would have ensured a more stable roster and management team. Hope he can turn his fortunes around at Cleveland after playing a full season with them without suspensions, but it will be a challenge!
