ACC legal team arguing ruling of past, similar cases should apply here

The ACC legal team is referencing past court cases and is asking that the ruling from those cases should be applied to this lawsuit. Cooper does not agree with the ACC's legal team and is pulling up paperwork as to why those rulings shouldn't be applied.

Why has this judge who went to FSU not recused himself from this case..he clearly has a bias towards the FSU semiholes...rulings will be thrown out if there is ever an appeal! What possibly would be discovered about you signing a contract on multiple occasions...spending the money and then griping that it is not enough...the only question should be did you get paid less than anyone else in the ACC and when are you going to return all the money you've been paid! FSU has been an albatross around the conference neck since they were allowed in! Act kinda like spoiled children with too much time on their hands..Tigers and those kind of Indians should not mix!

Unless ESPN forces some settlement upon the ACC, this case ends up in federal court.

Pawns moving on a chessboard right now.

The judge said in his opening comments that he hopes to make a decision today, but may not be able to do so.

I'm no attorney, so take my observations as an uneducated, in legal terms, of the situation and a guy who no matter how hard I try does have a bias.

Judge all morning as only talked to the ACC attorneys. They have had a very cordial conversation. They have gone off on tangents as to discussing exactly how much it would coast FSU to leave. At times I have thought the jusde was even suggesting mediation.

But, my impression at this point in time is the judge will allow the trial to continue in Florida. And, that is what was expected from the moment the ACC filed a motion to stay.

Two trials - one in NC and 1 in FL proceeding concurrently, for the time being.

"The ACC" has never won anything. The universities that make up the ACC have.
