They’re nowhere near us. Sure we had a down year. They will get beotch slapped in the CFP. That’s if they get by Louisville.

They are overrated this year.

Jordan Travis is an above average quarterback with two fabulous receivers. Add two or three great defenseive lineman, but no second string depth on the D line.

The rest of the team is somewhere between a little below average and a little above average.

Clemson fans traveled to all the venues in droves whether in Jacksonville, Charlotte or Atlanta… and to opponent stadiums. Good grief… let’s be real you FSU homers, Clemson finally got over the hump and beat you all for a decade and started correcting those FSU years of dominance, so now we are chump change because you have one decent year in recent history? Just hang tight, we will thump you spear chuckers next year and remind you just how much further you have to go before you are truly back!

If they do squeeze into the playoffs it will be a warm up game for whoever they play . Most overrated team in the top 15 .

But give them credit, they do you know how to bring a good book to a game and have something to read in the event they get blown out.

They are also good at avoiding a beat down when they hear their opponents bus driver’s next-door neighbor’s cousin’s dog sitter’s ex-wife’s best friend had exposure to Covid.

FSU built their current team through the portal... period. That "ready to play"

portal roster and its inherent roster development weaknesses is probably going to catch up to FSU tonight by another team that built their roster through the portal but was lucky enough to avoid injury to their 6th year portal QB.

Quite frankly - FSU has been irrelevant for many years and this one hit wonder portal team that Norvell built (maybe even paid for) through the portal is woefully inadequate to survive a CFP run even if they somehow find a way to win tonight with a third string QB.

But... that doesn't stop the FSU fan base/writers from thinking they are still "the standard" for ACC championship teams and are the preferred money draw for ACC football...

As much as people complain about Dabo's lack of portal use - he does build depth on the roster through patience and player development and as injuries mount during the season we manage to do ok and still compete. I guess I'm still not sold that having 90% of your starting lineup brought in from the portal to play for a year, maybe two at most, is a path that leads to sustained success.

Lol georgia georgia tech had a huge audience. Maybe we have outsized reliance on gt.

One of the most watched rivalry week games.

OR MAYBE. Lots of people tune it to see a highly rated team on the ropes with a potential for losing
