I mean, I was just going to say it's because we don't routinely lose at home...

For all the talk we hear about how much better the SEC is than the ACC, and the SEC has better environments, the ACC has two stadiums in the top 5 and the SEC only has one. And we are louder than all SEC stadiums.

Actual SEC stadium is experience for a great deal of them is kinda meh. I can speak from experience. I saw ECU @ Florida in 2015. The Swamp is overrated. They had entire sections still empty and their students didn't participate in any of their chants or gameday traditions. As the resident Gator in our group said, "We suck and the team we're playing sucks" neither of which turned out to be true. ECU kept the game close until the end, and Florida ended up in the SEC Championship. It was Will Grier's coming out party, as he was put in and won the game for UF. Still a disappointing and underwhelming game day experience, for a primetime matchup.
You have a lot of "wine and cheese" crowd types at SEC schools - Ole Miss @ the Grove, Alabama, Georgia, and Vandy come to mind. They're actually relatively quiet as stadiums and student sections go, save for a select couple of games like the Katy Perry one @ Ole Miss in 2014. The rest are kinda meh - Missouri is alright if they're playing well, but they're the literal middle of BF nowhere. A&M too. I've heard LSU is fun and deserves to be up there, so no issues with them being in the top. I've heard Auburn can be fun, but the last time we played there (2016), they did that BS orange game to disguise how many Clemson fans traveled there. My mom's told my horror stories about Starkville (although I do want to face a Mike Leach-coached team sometime in my lifetime), and Kentucky is a basketball school. I've been to SCar and the old garbage dump isn't that great, either. W-B definitely hit its peak in 2012 in the game against Georgia. They haven't been back to that level since.
The biggest shocker for me is how everyone has said Alabama has kind of a disappointment. It's not as loud as it should be, and everyone has said the students are so used to winning that they don't get as much into the games anymore because they expect to win most, if not all, games at home. Everyone I've talked to says Auburn is more fun on Gameday than Alabama. If I had to rank them based on my own experience and those whose opinions I value, I'd say it goes:
1. LSU 2. Auburn 3. Ole Miss 4. Tennessee 5. Georgia
It's a pretty big fall off after those, and even then I'd say LSU is leagues ahead of the rest.

I was at Bama Ole Miss 2015 and the crowd was a non-factor. Also went to 2019 UofSC and 2016 at Auburn. Auburn was cool but wasn’t loud

I've been to the Swamp for an important game and it was LOUD, pretty much a deafening roar no different than Death Valley. I've also been to a few Kentucky games before where all you heard were people talking and I went to their Florida game last year where you could not hear at all...about the loudest its probably ever been there.
While I haven't been to Kyle Field, some folks I know who have gone to all of them say that a big game in College Station is as loud of a stadium as you can get.

all across the country. By far the loudest stadium I've experienced was Clemson's 2018 game against Texas A&M at Kyle Field. Over 100,000 in attendance in the rain, and those folks stood and yelled non-stop the entire game.

I was there, and it was loud. But the loudest I ever experienced was the Miami game at Clemson in 2005.. 2006? Holy mackerel I had no voice after halftime at that game, and my ears were ringing for a few days.

I wonder if the truly loudest decibel readings in football stadiums have to do with a heavy cloud cover. I'm thinking back to the Miami overtime loss in DV and the aforementioned Tex A & M games as examples. Any meteorologists out there?

Clemson's was November 17, 2007 vs BC. Fair weather that night.

Auburn in 2011 had to come close, right?

The loudest single moment I've ever been witness to was that, and the 2015 Notre Dame hurricane game.
https://youtu.be/FIrpS94viiM?t=131
Brian Kelly crapping his pants when he came out of the tunnel to see a packed stadium is one of my favorite moments as a Clemson fan. ND had no idea what they were in for. I remember that game being incredibly loud - not sure if the rain had an amplifying effect or something. But that was insane.
I wasn't at the 2016 Louisville game which I've heard most say is up there for some of the loudest, too.

When it comes to loud stadiums...

there really isn't a 'loudest stadium' out there. There is a top group that probably includes 10 or so stadiums. Once you get to the point where you cannot hear at all and it affects the game, then the goal has been achieved.

1) We were "Death Valley" first. 2) The nickname doesn't come from an adaptation of "Deaf Valley". 3) We're louder. 4) We win there:
LSU Home Winning percentage: This year 75% Past 2 yrs 73% Past 3 yrs 67% Past 4 yrs 77% Past 5 yrs 79% Past 6 yrs 80%
Clemson Home Winning percentage: This year 100% Past 2 yrs 100% Past 3 yrs 100% Past 4 yrs 100% Past 5 yrs 100% Past 6 yrs 100%
