I think all the DJ haters are going to quickly see the issue is not entirely DJ our wide receivers are garbage

I think it's a mix of things.

1. I think DJ is a great quarterback playing in a terrible system for him. He is a pocket passer. We are not an offense built for pocket passers and Dabo/Streeter aren't good enough at scheming to change the offense. He's too slow to hand the ball off and he has no ability to run the ball against a real defense (Furman is a bad FCS school before you talk up those scrambles).

2. I think we kept recruiting 6'4" receivers rather than speedsters who can take the top off a defense, and the latter is much, much better 90% of the time (look at the best receivers in the NFL, they're all the fast ones). We have also failed to bring in a great 5 Star receiver in years to be our guy, and haven't had a great slot receiver since Renfrow left.

3. I think our offensive linemen aren't very good (Tate's not bad) and have horrible coaching so come in weaker than our opponents.

4. I think Dabo and Streeter both have bad playbooks and are bad at offensive playcalling.
