Well you can't represent a constituency that loudly and proudly will tell you how much they hate America and then not work to destroy, or corrupt, the countries institutions and norms. Having said that, DC Republicans have just stood by and allowed all of this to happen over the last few decades. Just happy to cut a few taxes and not be Democrats when elected. Then they wonder where all this discontent within their party comes from.
