Clemson is working on a way out on their own… independent of waiting for this group kumbaya. I really hope they are able to get this done. But first, they need an official invitation. So far it has just been a bunch of speculation. Now it needs to become more concrete on “where” they have a landing spot. Then it is full steam ahead.

If they didn’t already have a landing spot, they wouldn’t be trying to get out of the ACC.

Not to make our basketball friends upset, but keeping Brownell does not give me as much hope in Neff as I did after he fired Lee. We will see I guess. I feel like it will come fast and suddenly.

Why do we need a conference?

All this talk of needing a conference comes from assumption. ND doesn't have a conference for football and thrives well on bowl invitations, playoff seeding and the TV revenue for home games.

Most of the people who watch ND games on TV are pulling against them. Clemson is pretty much hated due to jealousy over the last 10 or so years. We were darlings to the nation until we ripped Bama a new one and we became the mountain to climb.

We'll be back in the PO this season and be attractive to all the sports networks again.

I was just getting ready to post this. The conversation on the video is fine But, warning, it is an FSU site. The highlights are FSU making big plays, most of them against Clemson.
