We spent the weekend on campus at Notre Dame with all of our Clemson fear on, and EVERYONE from Notre Dame was overly welcoming and friendly and very respectful. I hope our fans and students will be reciprocal when they come to our house next year! And hand the team a similar “### whipping”

Just spent the afternoon over there and everyone was friendly and helped us find our way. Fans at the game were nice, too.

We were there too. No issues at all with the fans. They were obviously excited but acted like they have been there before. Several of them are excited about coming to the valley. Said attending a Clemson game was definitely on their bucket list.

All the ND people we interacted with were super friendly. They enjoyed hosting knowledgeable football fans (their words). Certainly one of the best away trips and venues I have been to (outside of the game itself)..

Agreed. We went to O’Rourke’s to catch the UGA/UT game & we couldn’t pay for a drink. ND fans were incredibly gracious.

Super friendly before the game, but the fans in our section- ND section- were mouthy and definitely let us have it (we had a bunch of Clemson fans in our section), but I can’t blame them. Can’t imagine Clemson wouldn’t be the same. It was frustrating sitting there for three hours and having literally nothing to cheer about.

Congratulations to them, they dominated every facet of the game.
Let’s show them the same hospitality when they visit us next year.
GO TIGERS!

We had similar experience. Notre Dame folks were wonderful. Good folks. Notre Dame and Virginia Tech are the two best opponent stadiums / fans I’ve visited. Both were much better than Texas A&M.

Totally agree. About 10 minutes after arriving on campus Friday, an older gentleman offered to take a picture of my wife and I when he saw me trying to take a selfie. He and his wife said they were meeting some people but they wouldn’t be there for a couple of hours so they offered to walk around campus with us. The gentleman was a ND Alumni and a retired Army Commander. They spent 2+ hours with us! Since they are season ticket holders they didn’t have to pay the $10 to go into the end zone and they took us with them as guests. They took us into the most iconic buildings on campus and provided a lot of information that we would have never known if we had just walked around ourselves as planned. They took us into the Alumni center where lunch was being served so we bought their lunch because they had been so nice. We exchanged numbers and they are going to contact us prior to the game next year so we can return the hospitality.

I visited in the spring a few years ago. Almost everyone was very nice except for a few students who had everything on "ignore" while hurrying to class.
We couldn't get into the stadium due to construction. Otherwise we were greeted and welcomed in the ad building, the library, the Basilica, and everywhere else we went.
I was wearing Clemson gear and my buddy was wearing Va Tech gear.
We didn't get a single negative comment.

WE had a great time all weekend until we got to our seats.
Notre Dame fans behind us were among the worst I've ever been around. I'm talking South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland level obnoxious. Other Notre Dame fans were apologizing for them but still left a black mark on the whole experience.
Won't be back.
