>20,000 Undergraduates…..surely someone can punt a football

Good win last night, but punting is a real weakness this year. Makes the D have to work even harder.

The simple answer is it is up to the coaches to recruit a punter.

Surely someone on our soccer team can kick the ball. Need to recruit from Australian Football League.

Punting is not a strength, but neither is it a weakness.

It is what it is (mediocre) but it hasn’t cost us anything in particular so far.

Fielding punts on the other hand, was very shaky last night.

Losing either (or both!) of the muffed punts could have made a huge difference in the game.

Punting issues tend to matter more when you play top 5 teams. I hope we can get it fixed moving forward.

Oddly enough, he doesn't make me as nervous as Spiers did when he first got the job. Spiers ended up being good his last year, but you never knew what was going to happen before then. :)
