Clemson would’ve won a Championship with just Travis Etienne without Trevor.
I realize Trevor’s accomplishment. But if Clemson has even a capable QB during Travis’ time, we still would’ve won a national title.

So if you take out Trevor of the 2018 national championship, Travis scored 2 TDs for 14 points.
Add the 7 points by AJ Terrell pick-6, you have a 21-16 win without Trevor and only counting Etienne’s points and Terrell.
And yes I know you have to factor in Trevor’s impact for even getting to 2 national titles and three playoffs. But I believe our full teams during those years were so dominant, we could’ve done it with just Travis like Alabama did with Derrick Henry and an average QB (Jake Coker).

ETN had 3 TDs in the 2018 national championship game

2 rushing TDs and a receiving TD om the shovel pass. But all 3 were set up by several pass completions to get there, including a 62 yard completion to Tee Higgins on ETN's first TD, the awesome 17 yarder. Trevor Lawrence had 347 yards passing to 9 different receivers.
Kelly Bryant started the first 4 games that year, with Trevor taking over in the 2nd quarter of the 4th game against Georgia Tech. So you think we win the natty with Kelly Bryant as the starting QB the whole season? Travis did carry the offense in the Syracuse game when TL left with the injury.

Travis’ freshman year? As I remember Tavien Feaster grabbed almost half the load that could’ve been taken by Travis. Plus, Travis’ impact was ridiculously more by his Junior year.

Kelly Bryant was a very good college QB and we don't win that championship with him at QB. We also definitely don't make it to the playoffs the subsequent two years with anyone less than an all time great at QB.
