Since there’s been some time to reflect on what actually happened in basketball last season, I’ve been able to realize that no matter how far off we seem, we’re so much better off than we were 10 years ago.
You can take it as me backing Brad’s long-term progress, but I’m just simply looking at the results. I just think we compete in the ACC better than we used to. Thinking back to the Andre Young days, they were rough for sure.
I think you all can see this whenever the preseason ACC projections come out. Usually are projected below a top-10 finish, but I expect to be projected in the top-8 preseason.
Still, Brad deserves to be fired if he can’t get it done this coming year. That is clear. It’s not like football where we make an almost immediate 3-4 year change into a dynasty after Dabo was hired.
It’ll be the same with baseball. The sports that aren’t as funded as football will take longer to finally reach national competitiveness.
I’ve said it, but I do credit Brad for out battling those other top programs like Xavier and Villanova for the NC State transfer. Thought we had no chance in hell.

The "one more season" excuses will continue to happen regardless of the results.
Plain and simple for me, since he isn't gone already. Make the tournament he can keep his job, miss it AGAIN, he has to go.... but he probably won't be fired anyway.

If I'm honest, I'm not sure how I feel. Yes, we are more competitive in the ACC, but the ACC also seems weaker as a whole than it did ten years ago, so how much of it is a better team and how much is a weaker conference? I will admit I'm not a huge basketball guy though, and usually just watch basketball games to get me from football to bat-and-ball sports. My wife who grew up in Indiana and is a big Hoosiers fan is trying to change that but...I'm the dude my basketball coach kept a stopwatch on and pulled me as soon as I hit the minimum mandatory minutes, so there's that.

up my yard to lay some fiber optic internet. My bermuda just recovered from ATT doing the same thing a few years ago.
Least they did it early this year.. i'm going to stop by Home Depot and grab a bag of dirt. I should have it back in shape by July.
